We have been retained by a leading automated systems integrator to source experienced Integration Management candidates with strong Japanese language skills for a key role in their busy Auckland-based team.

The appointed individual will manage the Integration Project requirements of assigned projects to ensure alignment between the customer's
business objectives and that of the company as well as the systems that support the project objectives and deliverables.

The role requires a hands-on technical approach with strong client interaction with specific responsibilities including
- Taking charge of the delivery of the HLC, LLC and overall integration of the project,
on time and under budget:
o Management of a projects scope of works inclusive of scope management,
budget control, quality control, commissioning, testing and sign-off of the
works within the Integration Guidelines
o Working with the overall PM, manage the schedule of the project
o Supervision and participation on all integration tasks for the project in order
to supply the deliverables on time and under budget, these include:
 Material Flow Diagram
 Simulation working model
 PLC, HMI, SCADA Project
 Interface specification
 CAD drawings and design documentation
 FAT documentation
 User Manual
 Technical Manual
 Training Manual
 Network Drawing (as built)
 IP addresses & Passwords (as built)
 Pre HLC check list
 Integration Plan
 SAT documentation
 Factory acceptance of any third party integrated solutions
 Site close out list
o Regular and accurate reporting of project status, issues and budgets to
your PM, manager.
o If necessary regular reporting to clients and/or their representatives,
inclusive of provision of regular progress reports.
o Manage a list of change requests or variations related to technical
elements with the company Project Manager to maintain a close control on the
scope of the projects
o Maintain the HLC, LLC & Integration part of the project PAR (project
accounting reports)
 Manage the project wash-ups to capture lessons learnt and improve project efficiency
 Adherence with design and engineering standards, involvement with developing these standards.
 Maintenance of the project files and records.
 Design system reviews
 Technical / quality supervision of sub-contractors and site contractors

Candidates for the role will ideally have:
- Ability to read and speak fluent Japanese (essential)
- Proven experience in project management of software and IT systems, particularly in industrial environment (essential)
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Good software, IT understanding including:
o Network design and admin
o Solution Development
o Software development methodologies,
including AGILE
o Software Quality

- Ability to develop and implement solutions
- Experience with high availability systems and virtualisation technologies
- Excellent report writing skills, detailed analysis / proposals incorporating cost benefit
- Experience in detailed electrical and control system engineering design, cost estimation and project management.
